The “Unidad Pedagógica
Alejo Peralta y D. C. A. C.” was born more than
36 years ago with the philosophy of Engineer Alejo
Peralta y D. C. of providing Integrated Education to
the children and youths in the Mazahua region, based
upon the following objectives:
• To provide the youth of the region with
the possibility of having a better future, through
the opportunity of being integrally educated at
no cost.
• To provide the possibility of education
and employment in the student’s own area with
the intention of building their sense of belonging
to it, therefore avoiding emigration.
• To provide an Integrated Education that
includes: Pre-school, Primary school, Secondary
school and technological High School, so that the
student
who graduates from the Unit has the possibility
of joining the productive sector with the urgency
his
needs require.
• To
provide the student community with support services
that favor their physical and mental development,
includes a food supplement based on vegetables, legumes
and cereals; health care, odontology, psychology,
a barber shop, gardening and showers.
