Hello dear colleagues, It gives me a great pleasure to announce that Grupo IUSA is successfully live with R/3 Enterprise. After a four-days weekend, finally every thing is validated and working in a normal way.

It is important to mention that IUSA is the first Mexican customer in Enterprise coming from release 3.1I, which represented a double effort because of the two-step upgrade. Furthermore, its database size of 1 TB made bigger the challenge of 2.6 days of Downtime planned by the upgrade team.

IUSA is the first customer in Mexico which use the advance Upgrade Safeguarding Services offered by Active Global Support: Downtime Assessment and Upgrade Weekend Support, in addition to the upgrade coach figure during the whole upgrade project and the Going Live Functional Upgrade sessions.
