From a social-entrepreneurial perspective, the Alejo Peralta Educational Unit (Spanish acronym UPAP) was founded. This institution’s services are completely free of charge for children of IUSA employees. The campus has green areas, a civic area, auditorium, library, medical and dental services, three computer labs, machining, lathe, and drawing shop, athletic fields, vegetable garden, kitchen, and showers.
Another section houses the Pasteje Daycare Centers, which attend to children from 43 days after birth through four years of age. The service is free for mothers and widowed or divorced fathers with legal custody of their children.
At Colegio Bosque Real we see education as an integral process of ongoing interaction, in an educational community made up by teachers, managers, and parents. Our core objective is the development of individuals capable of making decisions and changing their environment, and above all exercising freedom and responsibility in their immediate social circle.
