Es la primera Empresa Mexicana que migra a la version 4.7 Enterprise de SAP.

Hello dear colleagues,
It gives me a great pleasure to announce that Grupo IUSA is successfully
live with R/3 Enterprise. After a four-days weekend, finally every
thing is validated and working in a normal way.
It is important to mention that IUSA is the first Mexican customer
in Enterprise coming from release 3.1I, which represented a double
effort because of the two-step upgrade. Furthermore, its database
size of 1 TB made bigger the challenge of 2.6 days of Downtime planned
by the upgrade team.
IUSA is the first customer in Mexico which use the advance Upgrade
Safeguarding Services offered by Active Global Support: Downtime Assessment
and Upgrade Weekend Support, in addition to the upgrade coach figure
during the whole upgrade project and the Going Live Functional Upgrade
sessions.
Special thanks to Jan Ringel (Consultant Technology), for his participation
with the Downtime Assessment and his continuous support to the customer
even after this service, key to achieve the planned Downtime,
Belinda Maldonado (HCM Specialist) for her invaluable collaboration
with the analysis of one of the most important pain points of the
upgrade process and
To the Duty Managers and Weekend Assistants who were there during
the last weekend.
I must congratulate the excellent and well-organized job done by
the IUSA's upgrade team during the whole project but specially the
last four days, which I had the opportunity to share with them.
